SORRENTO 26/27 LA TERRA DELLE SIRENE
The Land of the Sirens
Ezeta presents “The Land of the Sirens,” the new capsule collection for Sorrento Calcio 1945.
Three jerseys dedicated to Parthenope, Leucosia and Ligea, the Sirens of the Odyssey, reinterpret the legendary encounter with Odysseus through an entirely hand illustrated design. A project celebrating the connection between the Sorrentine Peninsula and one of the most fascinating myths of Western culture.

Odysseus and the Call of the Sirens
Along the coast of the Sorrentine Peninsula lies Li Galli, a small archipelago of three islands that, according to tradition, was home to Parthenope, Leucosia and Ligea, the three Sirens of the Odyssey.
Their song promised sailors absolute knowledge, drawing them towards the rocks, where they would meet their death.

It was off these shores that Odysseus faced their call. Following Circe’s advice, he had himself tied to the ship’s mast while his companions sealed their ears with beeswax, allowing him to hear the Sirens’ song without succumbing to its temptation.
Ever since, the legend has continued to live along the Sorrentine Peninsula, establishing Sorrento as the Land of the Sirens.
Siren Spotted : Real Photo or Fake ?
This headline sets the scene for “The Land of the Sirens” short film, imagining Parthenope, Leucosia and Ligea living in present-day Sorrento as three contemporary young women. They blend in with locals and visitors, wander through the historic streets and gaze out over the sea. Until the sea calls them back.
Photography and film explore the transition between reality and legend through refined digital compositing, revealing the protagonists’ mythical nature. More than a campaign, The Land of the Sirens imagines the return of a myth that remains deeply woven into the identity of Sorrento.

One single illustration runs throughout the entire collection. The tails of Partenope, Leucosia and Ligea intertwine with the movement of the sea currents, transforming the three jerseys into three fragments of the same legend.

The Mystery of the Abyss
the LIGEA jersey
The Ligea Jersey takes the story into the depths of the sea. The black background evokes the abyss, where light fades and the myth takes on its most mysterious dimension. From this darkness, Ligea’s red tail emerges, creating a striking contrast between the depths of the sea and the light of the surface.

The Light of the Mediterranean
the LEUCOSIA jersey
White is not simply a color choice, but a direct reference to the origin of the name Leucosia, from the Greek leukós, meaning “white” and “bright.” The jersey interprets the Siren through light: white evokes the reflections of the sun on the surface of the Mediterranean and the foam of the waves, while the intense red of her tail emerges in a striking contrast. A composition suspended between light, sea and myth.

The Partenopean Sea
the PARTENOPE jersey
The Partenope Jersey pays homage to Partenope, the Siren mythologically linked to the origins of Naples.According to legend, after her death, her body reached the shores of the city that would later bear her name, giving rise to the term “Partenopean.” The blue of the sea and sky merges with the Partenopean colors, while deeper shades define the Siren’s tails.
