SORRENTO 80TH ANNIVERSARY

The Sorrento 80th Anniversary jersey pays tribute to the 1970/71 away kit, the year of the club’s historic promotion to Serie B.

Back then, the kit was white, defined by its signature red-and-black diagonal sash.
Today, in our modern reinterpretation, that sash is shaped by the diamond pattern of the Sorrento crest, an iconic symbol of the city.

The video and photos, created using AI, evoke the history and emotions of the Rossoneri through a heritage aesthetic.

Subtle tone-on-tone wooden inlays, inspired by Sorrento’s artisan tradition, enrich the design and strengthen its bond with the local heritage.

Details such as the club’s founding date on the back of the collar and the commemorative crest where the number 80 embraces the five diamonds give the jersey an exclusive character, making it a true must-have for collectors.

"Sorrento, worn over time” is an editorial project created to celebrate Sorrento Calcio’s 80th anniversary, alongside the launch of the commemorative jersey designed by Ezeta. The story begins with what makes this milestone truly meaningful: people, and the deep bond between the club and its city.

Shaping the visual narrative is photographer Giuseppe Romano, moving through Sorrento by following the gestures, places, and faces of everyday life. His images bring the jersey, the city, and those who wear it into a natural dialogue making room for time, memory, and real life.

Proposed by Ezeta and creatively directed by Magliofili and Sportmediahouse, the project unfolds in the streets and workshops of the city, where real citizens never models, become protagonists. In both its white and black versions, the jersey is not a symbol to preserve, but a legacy to live: work, routine, effort, and joy because some stories don’t belong to a single moment, they endure, and they keep being worn.
