THE BASILICA OF SAN GIOVANNI IN LATERANO THE CATHEDRAL OF ROME

Built by Constantine in 314 AD, after the victory in the battle of the Milvian Bridge against Maxentius, it is the oldest church in the West.

The majestic central nave , in Baroque style, is considered one of Borromini's masterpieces, restored in the 17th century commissioned by Pope Innocent III.

The very precious golden coffered ceiling was designed by Michelangelo and later created by Daniele da Volterra commissioned by Popes Pius IV and Pius V.

The Cosmatesque flooring is decorated with polychrome marble, typical of medieval Roman art from the 12th century.

THE RESTYLING OF THE LOGO

The new crest simplifies the markings, maintains the shield shape and reinforces the Roman-style letter "R" and the full name of the club.
